Introduction to Rad Soap
If I taught my family anything over the past few years, it's the importance of cleansing. Everyone from my two girls to the hubs...they all love a good cleanse that leaves them feeling clean and fresh. And even better, one single product can be used not just on the face but on the body as well. In comes a brand that my family has fallen in love with so much...I seriously need to keep a stockpile to ensure we don't run out. And the brand I'm about to introduce you to, satisfies their cleansing needs for months before running out!
Introducing Rad Soap. A family owned business that specializes in quality soap making. They have a variety of bar soaps that contain really unique ingredients that, I must admit, I haven't heard of until now. And the ingredients all blend beautifully together to create hydrating and soothing cleansing bars. I've had the pleasure of trying 4 of their Bar soaps: Moon Rock, Kryptonite and Chaga and Man Up.
My favorite one has to be the Kryponite one. It's packed with blemish calming ingredients like Rose Hip oil, Neem, Hemp, Rice Bran, Tea Tree oil, Green Clay, Calendula Matcha and Reishi mushroom extract. I've loved using this giant bar of soap to not only lather my body but my face as well. I must admit, these bars are HUGE! I found it quite difficult at first to lather in my hands without dropping them a few times. But the effect is a creamy lather that's really soothing and nourishing.
The Chaga blend is also really nourishing. It must be my personal favorite when it comes to scent. It's blended with Even Evening Primrose, Sunflower and Safflower; Virgin Shea Butter, Essential Oils of Sweet Orange, Tangerine, Clementine and Dark Patchouli. Chaga mushrooms have been shown to have strong anti-aging properties and packed full of antioxidants. It leaves skin so smooth and hydrated post wash that you don't even need to moisturize afterwards. It's that good!
If you need a deeper cleanse, Moon Rock offers a purifying blend of Activated Charcoal, Black Currant Oil, Hemp Seed and Coconut Oil. It's more intense but in a gentle way. It feels great when my skin is suffering from its monthly breakouts and needs a bit of extra TLC.
Besides soap, they also make a Chaga face cream . It's creamy and nourishing with Chaga Mushroom Extract, Red Raspberry Seed Oil and Argan Oil. I found it a bit too heavy for me but the hubs loves it!
And speaking of the hubs...Mr.BoweryandGrand had the pleasure of testing their Man Up line. An interesting name (I must admit) but man do I love how he smells post wash! And why take my words for it...when you can hear from the man himself:
Mr. BoweryandGrand: "The fine people at Rad Soap company were nice enough to send me their Man Up line for me to try. Prior to this, my experiences with soap products, was limited to the usual stuff you would find at your local drug store. Never gave it too much thought. Soap is soap right? Not quite. After using this product just for a few days, the dryness I sometimes felt with the other soap products completely went away. My skin felt well nourished and hydrated. Who knew skin can, and probably should, feel this good. And there’s no short changing the portions here. The soap bars are massive. As much as I enjoyed using the soap products, the body butter brought my experience to another level. You know you enjoy using a product when you ration the amount you use daily in hopes of extending it’s use as long as possible. The smell is so invigorating it does a better job waking me up in the morning than my double espresso. Than again I do drink a lot of coffee, but the smell is amazing. Glad to have had the chance to experience these fantastic products. Great job guys."
So there you have it! A brand dedicated in using quality ingredients to help cleanse away your day. Check these guys out if you're in the market for some cleansing bars that last forever!, smell great and leave skin feeling baby soft.
